After my article, “Driving in the red: Bemidji School District calls state driving formula ‘unfair,’” was published, I received a phone call from a person who asked me, “825 square miles sounds big, but what does that look like on a map?” I told the individual that I appreciated the feedback and that a visual would’ve helped give the readership a better idea of how big the school district really is.
